Engine #1, the Marc F. Davis hauls a load of supplies to the mines as the last rays of the sun light up Big Thunder Falls. Backdrop and atmospheric effects added with Adobe Photoshop, all else as modeled.

Shop or Real?

Love the water. Shucks, love the whole scene.

Are the mist and rainbow some of those atmospheric effects you mention? If it is modeled then reveal your technique please. It is very cool.

Bravo!

Beautiful scene, amigo. But then, I am somewhat impartial as I've had the pleasure to see your layout firsthand!

Like the loco smoke, they are 'shopped. I couldn't resist. The waterfalls themselves are made from acrylic sheet "sculpted" with a soldering iron

Dave, There is a lot in the

Dave,

There is a lot in the scene besides the rainbow, is there some bush whacking about to take place between the individual on the mountain and the one in the water? We will have to tune in next week to see. Talk about your western cliff hangers. Nice scene Dave lots of detail that requires one to look for to appreciate.
