Fallen Flag Heralds
To All: What I have been doing for years is reducing and printing Fallen Flag Heralds to HO scale rolling stock. These are ones not available by the decal manufacturers. I print these on paper and when applied they look very good! You do not have to be concerned with some imperfections as these are almost invisible when reduced for HO. I make my art work about 2" in diameter and reduce the drawing by at least 50% or 60%, depending on the car. Photo #1--The Durham & Southern became part of the Seaboard Coast Line RR. Photo #2--The Washington, Idaho & Montana is a defunct electric railroad. Photo#3--The Denver, Leadville & Gunnison Rwy is a defunct narrow gauge line. Photo #4--The Manistique & Lake Superior under went many name changes in it's history. At one time they had a rail car ferry between Northport, Michigan & Manistique, Michigan. The Line was controlled by the Ann Arbor RR in it's later years. Photo #5--The Charlotte Harbor & Northern was built in western Florida to haul phosphate to port and was absorbed by the Atlantic Coast Line RR. Photo3 #6--The Peoria Route was one of the predecessors of the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific RR. Yours, Elvin Howland/E. St. Louis Rail Group Layout
