Due to family and work commitments reaching their peak in the christmas period not alot has happened on the railroad. I have however managed to kitbash my locomotive servicing structure.

Its been a while since i have reported any progress on my layout but work commitments have slowed me down. I have since got about 60 percent of the roadbed in place  and the trackwork has been layed in the town of harpers.

Room preparation was high on my list as in the past i had a nice layout in a not so nice environment. This of course led to periods of inactivity as it was simply not a nice place to be. This time it is different. This is the shed when we moved in:

As i stated in the opening post i model the Chessie System However i love more modern power. To this end i ended up rewriting history a little.

After quite a bit of deliberation I have decide to document the construction of My Chessie System layout. I would call myself a proto- freelancer... as such my model railroad is firmly seated in the prototype Chessie system, however this is where the free lance bit comes in.
