Time for an Avatar Update
My original MRH avatar was a Big Boy hat I picked up in Cheyenne May 2019, and the Y6A 2156 Hat I picked up in Roanoke 2018. This selfie was taken December 2020, sporting my COVID look: No barber since December 2019, quit shaving October 2020. The Mickey Mouse shirt here is a souvenir from taking my two wonderful, sweet, beautiful daughters and wife, to Disney Land a few years ago. I only wear it on special occasions. Like this photo op.
Servo Motor Mounting in 2” Foam Board
Servo motors for turnouts are cheap, about $1.20 ea. Arduino controllers are $5.00 and handle up to 12 servos. They connect to a PC with a simple printer cable, Bluetooth or Wifi. This blog includes how to install the motors in foam board; sources for Arduino controllers & command code, servo motors, WiFi & Bluetooth hardware; and sources for how to connect everything.

The Pere Marquette & Chesapeake
