Sorry I was not able to get back to you all and give an update, I have been on business and my kids have had chicken pox!!

I have finally been able to light the layout using a normal fluorescent tube from a local DIY store. The building on the left hand side will hopefully be starting soon - I have put it off for a very long time.

I am a subscriber to Trainmasters.tv and have been reading MRH for some time.

I am based in England and currently building a small exhibition layout based on colliery railway operations.

It is named after a prominent mined coal seam in the area modelled, which is Cumbria.The layout is called 'Six Quarters'
