PRR Branchline Terminal

Since retiring last summer and moving to central Pennsylvania, I’ve been working on this layout, designed for me by Rob Chant.  The benchwork is built on top of IKEA Ivar shelving in a corner of our basement family room.  The theme is an early post-WW 2 (1947) PRR branchline terminal in central PA.

Merkiomen Memorial

I recently retired and vacated the parsonage (I’m a Lutheran pastor) we occupied for 23 years.  We moved from NJ to PA in retirement, buying our first house (at the tender age of 65), and downsizing in the process.  While the layout described in this blog was small (it nearly filled a 13’x12’ room), it wouldn’t fit into our new abode.
