Every month the download for the current edition is DIFFERENT.  Why on earth do you change the download?  Is it some kind of test of my personal menory?

Not sure what you mean? Last month we made a mistake on the current issue download link, but other than that, we haven't been changing things since we rolled our our new Gen3 version in January.

So yes, we made a mistake last month, but otherwise, we've not changed it for 8 months now.

Download terrible

I'm not sure why but there seems to be some sort of issue with the downloader.....it either stops or is so slow almost like mid-1990s technology. It got so bad I gave up trying to download the most recent issue. Now I've downloaded the mobile app and thats totally useless...I think management might want to find some other downloaders and a totally different mobile app.

I am using a mac and the pdf

I am using a mac and the pdf download seemed to go just fine. I have not yet had time to read the issue but the PDF seems to work ok. Hope that helps in solving the difficulty.

back-up

When I encounter balkiness with the primary downloader, switching to the back-up generally solves the problem.

The iPad

We use iPads all the time and never have any problems. The secret is to stop trying to do large downloads inside a mobile browser - it's very unreliable - works great one time and then will hang or go sideways the next several times, then suddenly work fine again one time. You need to use a download manager for large files on mobile devices - that's why they make them - because browser downloads of large files totally suck on mobile devices. For the iPad, our favorite download manager and all-around file display Swiss army knife app is GoodReader ($5). Once you try GoodReader on the iPad and iPhone you will never bother with browser downloads of MRH again! Check out our Help section> Questions and answers> iOS / iPad / iPhone answers for more details on using GoodReader for trouble-free access to MRH mag and our downloadable eBooks and videos. GoodReader handles them all with almost no hiccups. Ditch the browser on large downloads - Get GoodReader and you will live happily ever after ...
