Nice article and good

Nice article and good background info. Much smaller scale than I would be using but interesting none the less.

Neat structure for eastern narrow gauge

Larry Smith has provided a great introduction to the East Broad Top coal mining operations in southern Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.  He draws on decades of research by Ron Pearson, who has written extensively on the EBT mines.  The Joller tipple is a compact structure that occupies an area no bigger than 8" by 8" but provides an authentic appearance on the layout.  In the second part of his article in the August issue of RMH, Larry provides detailed plans and instructions for making this little tipple a part of your narrow gauge empire.
