I seem to be a little too dense to add photos to regular discussion forums. I wanted to share a couple of new photos on Driline WPF 1-13 thru 1-15 but can't figure it out. So here are a couple of new shots of my layout. By the way, comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Wow

Wow, Gary.  Those mountains are going to be magnificent.  Too often our scenery is just slightly larger than our models, but your setting really emphasizes the proper scale or real mountains.  It show how much those steamers will have to work to earn their keep.  Thanks for posting.

Mountains Majesty

I question the plausibility of boring a tunnel only to reach an engine service area although stranger things have happened. Regardless, the tall mountains frame the scene in an outstanding way. Should be quite impressive once terrain work is finished.

From where does the river under the bridges originate?

Tunnel folly

Alan,

My favorite railroad the L&N had a wacky little tunnel that was only 47ft 7in long that made it to Ripley’s Believe It or Not(R) as the "World's Shortest Tunnel".  You can read about it here: http://www.railpictures.net/articles/article.php?id=1.  And here's the picture from RailPictures.Net.  I thought about modeling it on my railroad!

Alan, the water for the creek

Alan, the water for the creek is from a waterfall originating from the V behind the long trestle. Don, I wanted the feeling of a railroad struggling through giant mountains. Probably comes from my childhood when I would sit for hours watching the trains work their way up towards Donner Pass.

Rick, thank you for your kind words. You and your layout have been an inspiration for me!

Love that mountain setting!

Hey Gary, I really love those big mountains! I am a sucker for trains slogging it out through big mountains. This is looking great. Looking forward to seeing more pictures. Fantastic trestle too by the way!

Keep up the good work.
