I'm making progress on my salvage yard office but have much more to do.  Here's how it looks presently:

Looking good Rich. I can just envision all kinds of scrap metal leaning against the sides

Looking really good !

The detailing is looking great!  Now, don't take this wrong, the "builder" in me, after 45 years in the construction industry, "cringes" when I see that sloped roof run in that direction.

Thanks, guys!

Dave S - The area around the building will be junked up!

Mike, I agree on the roofs - it's a problem just waiting to happen with it sloping towards the wall of the back building.  I've actually seen just this setup and know that many times with "do it yourselfers" they will construct things without considering water drainage.  I'm going to put some flashing and tar in the joint area but in my make believe railroad world there's definitely a leak where the two meet!

Progress continues on the yard office

Here are a couple of pictures.  It's not permanently installed yet.

Top dollar building work

Beautiful build Rich.....

I love the sway on the lower edge of the roof and the realistic tile weathering. It's those little details that make all the difference.

Also, very nice signage.

A success all round methinks.

Thank you Rob Clark.  The swayback roof was a mistake - but I also like the way that it turned out.  I printed the signs on my printer and mounted them on ten thousands styrene before mounting them on the building.

Thank you Mister Rose!  My structures take a bit longer to make than yours and I enjoy the process.

Awesome!!!!

Hey Rick, I just wanted to let you know that I think your structure is AWESOME!!!  I love the weathering and everything about it.  I don't get on MRH all that much actually and I apologize for not checking out your posts and many others here who do outstanding work.  It's the same with the weekly photo fun.  Some weeks I check it out and others I don't.  I get busy with projects, my running, and other family things and just don't check out MRH as much as I'd like to. Keep up the great work!

Thank you, Tom J!

I appreciate your kind words about my salvage yard office.  Once I get it glued down and blended into the scenery I'll add some more detail "junk" around the outside.
