odd issue numbering

Just downloaded July 2021.  Its numbered issue 137.  May was numbered 031.  Wondering where the 106 missing issues went?  Okay, I'm sure there weren't 106 issues but am wondering about the odd numbering system.  

Mine Was 135

You're confusing RE and MRH, they're two different magazines.

Model Railroad Hobbyist (MRH) ...
   MAY MRH - #135
   JUN MRH - #136
   JUL MRH - #137

Running Extra (RE) ...
    MAY RE - #031
JUN/JUL RE - #032

What may add to the confusion is we put MRH in the back of every issue of Running Extra to give RE readers a single download for all magazine pages, but MRH is also its own magazine with its own issue numbering that long pre-dates RE.

Another jam packed issue, sir, back to back from what might have been a late issue last month, but the content sure didn't make it feel like it was late nor like RE was missing!  This month, there's a side of beef fit for a Texas sized smoker barbecue in there, there'll be no more meatless Tuesdays for many!!

Nice job, and Wow look at everything on the inbound release list.  I swear I just kept turning pages and there was simply more and more stuff!!  Lots of people should be happy out there!
