While I was in Florida recently Michael Rose was nice enough to allow me to tour his excellent railroad, the Georgetown & Allen Mountain Railroad.  As wonderful as his railroad is I must say that my favorite part was listening to Michael talk about his long years in the hobby and his outlook on modeling.  Thank you, Michael!

I made little video of the tour:

Thanks Rick for the look around. What a mammoth pike that is going to be! Well built indeed.

Yes, Great Video

That is a nice video.  That is one monster of a train room. I'm jealous.

What did Michael do, put you on a rotating table? That was a pretty darn steady 360° turn you did there.

Thanks for taking the time to make a great video of one of the MRH forum members.

No table.....

Bernd, I tried my best to make a smooth 360 turn. It would have been better IF I could have found the camera mounting plate for my tripod! It seems that "somebody" (me) misplaced it. I'm glad that you enjoyed the video. Rick

Thanks for posting the video

Rick,

Thanks a lot for creating such a nice video and presenting it here. It was a lot of fun to have you come visit and chat with you about railroading and everything else. I'm already looking forward to your next visit, hopefully you'll have a little bit more time then.
