I'm a big fan of narrow

I'm a big fan of narrow gauge, and I'm really impressed by this!  I have done some work with On30 in the past, and this is some pretty impressive detail.  That gallows turntable is just as cool as it always was.  The open-air engine stall with the ancient coffee ad on the end is also very interesting (who doesn't love a good backwoods curiosity in the absence of a nearby Vaudeville performance?).  I also like the board-walk style "front porch" of that one shop or shanty.  Looks like it should be part of a long boardwalk, but in my opinion that only serves to make it more interesting rather than making it look out of place!  As for the "staircase" in the plywood pile... simply GENIUS!  I would never have thought of that one on my own!

BTW, nice railbus.

I am also impressed by the small shacks and their sheer level of detail.  They just add so much (backwoods) character to a scene!

Amazing!

O scale always has such presence. Somehow there is just enough size and weight to everything that it feels real. The smaller scales rarely manage that, no matter how talented the modeler. Beautiful layout, well designed and constructed. You should be very proud of what you have built. That motorcar is delightful. And, I agree the turntable just looks right.
Great job!

Spectacular!!

Great work. Your structures are incredible. It’s seems like so many logging scenes get buildings weathered beyond actual use.  Yours look right on.  The entire group of pics is great. Thanks for sharing those!!

Really nice over-all effect!

Still in the planning stages, your work is great inspiration for the direction I'd like to go.

Thx for sharing!

Nice!

Very good detail work, and it really shows a ramshackle existence very effectively.
