I feel stupid. I can't figure out how to import an image into XTrackCAD. I want to "trace" my image with the track elements.

Anyone know how to do this?

Importing images into XtrkCad

Don't feel stupid.

I thought I knew Xtrkcad intimately but I can't see a way to do this either.  There is an import command but I have no idea what file format is acceptable.

The only way I know of to get a custom "image" into Xtrkcad would be to create a structure parameter file and load the parameter file so the custom drawing could be inserted in a plan.

Well there is the analog way!

First Print out the Xtrkcad drawing and then print out the custom image, then take an X-acto Knife or a pair of scissors and cut out the Custom Image and glue it to the Xtrkcad printout.

or go back and read the directions
