Checking out the Walthers online catalog prior to my trip to my local hobby shop and found this item listing. Not sure what to make of it...

That looks like a remake of

That looks like a remake of an existing hobby shop kit. I have one that I got at a swap meet. Don't know the manufacturer.

My plans for it

That kit has an excellent front window, suitable for interior scenes.  I'm not sure what it's going to become, but quite possibly it'll be the local boxing gym.  With its 35' x 50' footprint, a 20 foot regulation ring will fit, along with mats and a few punching bags.  I might add an extension, added in the heydey of the neighborhood, since the structure would be a bit cramped.

I have to rebuild the ring, though, it had a catastrophe (MEOW) as I didn't think the kittens could get up on that shelf just yet.

Perhaps I'll add some sign of what the place used to be, be it hobby store, grocery, or something else altogether.

Assume

You mean it's a Walthers item and they say they have no info from the vendor. Apparently besides dropping vendors they've carried for years because they can't get updates they can't even find out about their own products!

Funny stuff...

I'm not sure which is funnier, the original post or some of these responses.

That was one of My shops!

At first sight, the OP's product is Exactly (!) like the recently Closed LHS in Northern NJ.  (the owner had died, may he rest in peace!)

The owner had liberally distributed Walther's sale catalogs (the monthlies)... must mean something, I know not what.

Usually

I defend Walthers as a great source, especially if you use the advanced search feature on the website. This not only is funny, but sad. Maybe you guys who dislike Walthers are correct, yes they seem to be dropping the small guys. But their own product they have no info on! At least the customer service group is still located on site instead of like Kalmbach somewhere else.

Man, even the scale hobby shops are vanishing!

Indeed

Clever Models based their kit on a shop which hasn't been trading in some years.
