Awesome!

Mike,

Love the SD-7/9s(?).  Super colors. My all time favorite combo.

The cab ride view of the the static grass is great.  Nicely done.

Denver Union station is superb.

Keep up the good work.

Loveland Wye

Mike,

What is the prototype for the Loveland wye?  There was a wye in Loveland that led out to the Arkins branch (plaster mines) but didn't support the mainline trains as far as I know. A little modeler's license?

Very good video

Really enjoyed getting a tour of the layout by following a train around. Nice? Good music too!

Loveland Wye

George,

Thanks for your comments, and kind words. the Loveland wye did go out to the Arking branch here is a photo of a 1960 map of Loveland. so I mirrored the Wye amd sent it to the Great Western sugar mill that you model. I also shifted Loveland to the east so I could have more room to model it. So a little Modeler's License.

Ops Sessions

John,

the Mainline is working and that is it. None of the yards have controls build I have started and not siding are up yet so still have a good year of work yet to get done. But stay tune I have started yard controls and we will be looking to get set up for Ops soon. 65% of the JMRI panels are done but the electrical work is slow. ( block occupiers and signals are not even started)

That train ran really smooth Mike.

Thanks for the cab ride.  Can't wait to see it in person.  I caught a glimpse of the Colorado Front Range lettering up high as you come through the door.  Did Sean make that one also?  Can we get a better look on the next video?  Let me know how the Boeing meet turned out.  I miss not being able to go to that with you guys.

Lettering for the layout

Mike,

the lettering is some 6 inch cardboard letters i found online. I added thumb tack for rivets then painted. here is a photo. The whole project ran me 30 dollars and is a nice touch for when you first walk in.
