Cancer is a horrible mindless

Cancer is a horrible mindless killer that affects the lives of millions of people around the world each year. I have been fighting this gruesome illness for nearly 7 years and like Lionel have survived longer than the initial prognosis I was given. Your support for Lionel is truly wonderful, whilst all cancer sufferers have bad days, hopefully the bad days are outnumbered by the good days and I sincerely hope that Lionel can maintain his inspirational attitude to life for a good period into the future. I will certainly be buying something from you to help his cause. Inspirational gestures like yours shows to people like myself that there are good people in this world who will make a sacrifice for others. Sir you have made me smile having read this post which is something I do not do enough at the moment. Thank you, good luck with this project and I will offer a prayer for the continued longevity of Lionel's life.

When I first saw this I

When I first saw this I thought oh my did Lionel pass away? So glad that I discovered he was still with us and his wit would still be injected into things he does for MRH and hobby events in the future. I hope you manage a full recovery Lionel, I know someone from about 40 years ago, who went through a similar event. This gentleman used to stop by and often the topic turned to his diagnosis and he said he had already out lived his last four doctors. At the time he seemed very vigorous and quite full of life. I do not believe that cancer was the cause of his death and he managed to recover from it.

Thanks for the feedback. We can only imagine the struggle you and Lionel have been enduring. One of the reasons we are supporting Lionel's campaign is that the physiological toll of a cancer diagnosis is hard to overstate. And it's an area that does not get the attention is should and we are hoping we can raise enough to let Lionel achieve his goal and more.

Lionel has been quite an inspiration over the last two years. We want to be a part of that somehow...
