I am considering this for the

I am considering this for the logo of my freelanced line and would like some comments on what you folks that read this think of it. The line (fictitious) is the result of several mergers and acquisitions. The time period is 1959 and I might back date it just a bit but really like 1959. Most of the railroads in the merger all became part of the same system in reality just not the way I have it planned. Railroads: Wheeling and Lake Erie, Pittsburgh and West Virginia, Akron Canton and Youngstown, Wheeling Bridge and Terminal Railway, Wheeling Terminal Railway, Ohio River Railroad, and the Virginian. The fictitious system would serve the great lakes area as well as Columbus Ohio, Pittsburgh Pa and connect with the Virginian at Deepwater WV. It would also get into the coal fields of Kentucky via Kenova WV. Kenova and Wheeling are connected by the Ohio River Railroad.

Overall I like it

but I think the font in the center needs to be slightly stylistic, currently too blocky.

Simple...

As I envision my Lenape Northern, it has been recently spun off from Conrail (itself, a new entity in the railroad world) and is struggling financially. As such, it doesn't have a lot of money to spend on custom graphics and, even if it did, this is in a time before computer generated "wraps", so, "simple" is the operational word here.
