How about an underwater train?

If you like to do underwater photography, there are several locomotives and many mine cars in Sherkston quarry, Ontario, Canada.  It is about 10 k west of Niagara Falls (which are well worth a visit, if you are touring.)  The quarry flooded unexpectedly about 70 years ago, leaving the trains under 10-15 meters of water.  Unlike  ocean wrecks, the underwater trains and tracks look much as they did long ago.  I dove there with a dive club about 10 years ago with a thick wetsuit (cold water.)  Visibility about 20 meters.  You can see dive photos if you look online.  Mine are long lost.

"Pro Photo Sessions" on/around trains = No

Dear ??? (valeamor),

Not 100% sure I understand the question,
but if you are looking for railroad locations ("abandoned" or otherwise) to hold a professional "human model" photoshoot, I would reccomend thinking again...

Posing on/in/around railroad equipment is inherrently risky.
Sure you may think "it's an abandoned track, nothing runs here",
but there are many tracks which look abandoned but are in Active Service.

Furthur, even if the location is guaranteed to be clear of active trains,
the equipment is still owned by someone, and cannot be guaranteed to be safe to climb on/in/around,
both from a mechanical and a "what animals may have started living in the equipment" situation...
(at the very least, solid shoes + jeans + sleeved shirt + gloves are a must IMHO).

Take care out there...

Happy Modelling and Photographing,
Aim to "get the shot" safely,

Try a museum

Many museums, like the Illinois Railway Museum, have equipment that is parked and well maintained. They may have some restrictions/fees on professional shoots, but that can be worked out before you arrive.

Here is a list of most US museums.

Don't feel bad Pascal

I have lived in Maine all my life and have yet to visit these also!  They say either by foot in summer or by snowmobile in winter.
