This update is to remind you the first Monday of the month is the traditional MRH magazine release date, and for March this is March 7. Any time the first Monday is a little later in the month we get folks wondering where their magazine is, so this is to somewhat head off that concern. The one possible scheduling concern with the March issue has to do with my Dad being about to pass. He's not eating and just barely drinking at this point and Hospice has been called in. His doctor says he's showing signs his organs may be starting to shut down, so he may pass quickly. If he goes this week, that could affect the March issue release date. Unfortunately, people can't schedule their final exit, and telling the family I have to do some magazine instead of be with them sounds really lame, so I hope you will all understand if Dad goes this week.

Joe's Dad

Joe,

Very sorry to hear about your dad.  I know he will be missed greatly by you and your family.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time.  And as far as the magazine goes family is most important so us the readers will understand.

God bless

Joe H.

Your dad

Joe, I'm very sorry to hear about your dad.  We just went through that with my mom a little over a year ago, so I have some sense of what you're facing.  By all means, don't worry about MRH or any of us.  Spend the time with your dad and take care of your family and yourself.  I'm praying for you all.

My sympathy

It's a tough part of this life.

MRH should be on the back burner at a time like this.

Best,

 Rick

My Prayer

My prayer for you and your father is that he finds his peace at the right time. Although death is wrought with pain and grief, I always like to think of it as a time of peace. So peace for your father and for those who will carry on without him. As you know, death is merely a beginning.

Enjoy each moment

Joe,

Please know that we support you during this special time and do cherish each moment that you can spend with your father and with your family.  They are what life is all about.  Just went thru that with Mom and those memories are very special.  The MRH magazine and its many supportive readers can and will wait.

Warmest Regards,

Dave

Enjoy him as long as you can

I saw my mom for the last time about 6 months before she passed (talked to her a few days before on the phone).  She was there 1 day and gone the next.  Probably get to see my Dad again in April.

The magazine will wait, family doesn't

Passing on

Lost my dad almost 32 years ago. I was lucky, he went quick. My wife just went into hospice last Wednesday. No telling how long she'll be around. It's never easy loosing loved ones.   Joe

Family First!

Family first!  Be with your dad even if he doesn't know you are there, you will know you were there!  We all share in his passing, we can wait for your return and another fine issue of your mag.  Russ

Spend the time with him

It is precious and MRH is much lower priority than family. Praying for you and the family.

Nothing more important

Than being with family in time of need Joe.  That must always come first because nothing else matters without family.  Thoughts and prayers for you and yours.

Joe, Very sorry to hear about

Joe,

Very sorry to hear about your dad. I know how it feels, I have been there. This is so much more important than the magazine so please take all the time you and your family needs.

I went through this with both

I went through this with both my parents and can only echo Michael's well put sentiments above. We will be here when you have time for us and you and your family have my heart felt sympathies for this time.

Prayers

Joe our prayers are with you and your family in this difficult time. MRH will wait...because it is worth waiting for. Please try and put it out of your mind for now...your father and your family will need your full attention.

Prayers for you . . .

. . . and the family, Joe.

That's one of the great things about MRH -- publication isn't dependent on scheduling time on a printing press.

Also, if you think of it, that little 8-year-old girl in the Portland area who last Thursday died of suffocation is the daughter of a BNSF signal employee. It's utterly heartbreaking.

Thanks Joe

We appreciate the heads up on the publication date. Like many others I can relate to what you are going through with your dad. Went through it with my mom and now with my dad too. Do what needs doing.
