I kinda' hate power bricks. They are always a pain to keep tidy and to mount.
Depending how you truss them up, they are difficult to remove later too.

Faced with mounting yet another power brick, this time for my RailPro system, I came up with a tidy little mount that allows you to easily slide the brick in and out with no other tools.

Available now from PDC at $14.50 including shipping in the US or Canada...

(Update: Revised design for better cooling and a smaller profile)

The design is easily modified for other power bricks, so feel free to contact me for custom sizes!

Check it out at PDC.ca today!

Marvelous work

It is rather amazing what one can do with all the modern tools available today.

Your work is similar to a Mass. fellow who made a run at providing similar product on ebay and about $3 a pop with custom devices for many different brands. I purchased two of them for the Digitrax DT402 series throttles, a throttle that doesn't play nicely with some throttle pockets.  I put a picture and write up on my website blog, but it looks like he has walked away from them.  Nice product.

However, since I have retreated to the Lenz system with their incredible Ethernet contoller, I now have no throttles on the layout at all. It is in my pocket when I need it.  I keep one on my portable test track wondering if I'll ever really need it again, maybe to reset the LZV100 IF it ever gets crazed.
