Hi,

It would be cool if there was an easy way to bring up threads or blog commentaries I have participated in that have new entries since I last visited. I like to make sure I follow up with anything I post and it would make it easier to do. It could look just like recent posts but be filtered for only ones I have a comment in that have new stuff.

Thanks,

Chris

Yes we have that ...

Chris:

Yes, we have that.

Go to My account, and then click on the Track tab. Voila! A list of all the threads you have posted to and their activity. Click on the "1 new" text to go directly to the first new post in that thread.

Works well but..

That works pretty well and I have been using it a lot.. so much so that it would be cool to have it more readily available. Would it be sensible to have it a sub-link under "recent posts" much in the same way you have "My Blog" under "Blogs"? That would also ensure that on the way to it users would still see all the new posts, not just their own threads...

Trouble is ...

Chris:

The trouble is, the link to your private tracker varies by user, so doing what you ask is not straightforward ... it takes getting a programmer involved and having him or her hack the site.

Nice idea, maybe in a future major new release of this site. But for now, we've got a magazine to get out, and that comes first.
