What--and WHY--is it?

Is this for real?  Where is it?  There must be some impressive tale behind it...could you share?

A friend sent the link

I seriously doubt it actually exists as pictured.

My guess is that someone's been messing around with Photoshop.

If it were real, it would require some heavy duty industrial equipment and a large budget to accomplish.

No, here's what happened. A

No, here's what happened. A railroad museum restored that beautiful tank locomotive and told some company to get a crane and put it on the TRACKS for use on their tourist railroad. And that's what they did!

Just kidding. I really have no idea. That's SO odd.

The Truth

Here's the source behind this mysterious contraption. http://steampunkcostume.com/2011/11/11/steampunk-tank-photoshop/

The prof. was close with the ID of the steamer.

Gotta love digital

Well done 'shop but was obvious as a 'shop to begin with. Perspective on the smokebox is wrong to the tracks. Although I will say again, well done. Same problem Jas and I are trying to Photoshop our way out of with his structure interior.

That Russian monster

Looks like the ultimate off-roaders motor home. Or Winnebago's worst nightmare. I always wanted to do some plastic surgery on an old class A motor home and turn it into a rubber-tired F7. Imagine the looks you'd get going down the highway!
