Landscape loaded ok here

However, on the ratings for the previous issue, the date at the top is listed as 2012, not 2013.

Correction

I'm pleased to see my diorama and a link to my thread "Inexpensive Scenery" is in this issue's Yes It's a Model.

It depicts a Maritime coastal scene somewhere in Eastern Canada; not the surf line between San Diego and Los Angeles as it states in the photo's description. I'm guessing the presumption was made by the editors due to other posts stating it looked like the stretch near Carpenteria in Calfornia; a compliment indeed.

The diorama was inspired by various beaches I studied in the Maritime provinces and some footage from the silent film, The Railrodder starring Buster Keaton so it isn't really modeled after a specific beach though I'm glad that it reminds others of other locales.

The diorama was a great experiment for me and learning experience.

Sincerely,

Deemiorgos

just reading byte to byte...

this is a great issue, I just wish that the PFE article went up to the end of operation (perhaps later). Prof's mini layout has some great ideas, and the convention info was worth the wait.

one tiny typo...the calendar says that it is February....

am I the only N Scale Pacific Electric Freight modeler in the world?

Yes, we seem to have problems with dates

Yes, we seem to have problems with dates on things. We pore over the details so closely that we sometimes overlook the obvious. Looks like one last pass through looking at the headings is called for.

iPad

How do I get the magazine to save on my iPad? While I'm reading if I hit a link it will go there and when I go back to the magazine it has to re load. My connection is kinda slow and it's aggravating.
