Wow!

This area has really turned out fantastic, Jas! The photo backdrop on the stamping plant looks great! As I've mentioned before, I was curious as to how you were going to handle some of the open spaces in the buildings. You've really done a wonderful job with the photo backdrops. The weathering on the track and the structures looks great, too!

JL&T taking shape nicely

Looking great. I especially like the interior backdrop behind the crane. Very convincing.

Great job on the backdrop

Great job on the backdrop Jas.  I find it would be easier with old fashioned  photos instead of a video. Makes it easier to go back and look at different scenes without having to find it on the video.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the comments guys...

@Tom... Thanks for the comments mate, as always greatly appreciated. That photo was a fluke, it was one of about 100 I'd looked at during a search session one day, and it wasn't until I got it behind the backdrop that I'd realised it was almost perfect. It still needs to be altered a little so that the angle isn't as low as it is, and I'm going to edit it to darken the image a little in photoshop. @Alan... Thanks Alan, as I said to Tom I was damn lucky with that one, I think the one to right (vertical liquid tanks) is actually even better. The scale, composition, colour and angles are all spot on. @Randy... Thanks for the comments on the backdrops. Consider it done I will do some photos over the next few days and post them, the backdrops have changed again anyhow so I'll do an update. Cheers, Jas...

Noice !

Looking really good Jas, it's very apparent that you have a good eye for scale and perspective.

The layout really is flying along, I hope you are still gainfully employed .

Thanks Steve...

It is getting there now, those backdrops are making a huge difference!  And it is starting to move along, although the detail side of things really can be time consuming.

Still employed (unless you know something? ) was on leave for a month so got a really good run.

Jas...

PS:  I think an ops session might be order soon?

Great Video

Really enjoyed your update Jason. The layout is really taking shape! I will echo the others comments on the well executed photo backdrops to this point. Can't wait to see the final colored versions. Well done!

Thankyou Joe...

And also thanks to you for creating this wonderful and vital tool for those of us across the world! I can seriously say that I would not be at this stage if three years ago I had not found this fantastic little forum. The depth of knowledge and the willingness to share is what makes this place such a great resource, and as you said a really fun place to hangout! More than happy to help out by sharing our build and experiences with everyone on the forum. Jas...
