Anyone else having this problem?  Other sites are quick, but here they seem to hang up for about 10 seconds.

Yes, yes, yes

Yes, yes, yes, it's the model-trains-universe site - the site serving our ads. We've grown to the point it needs upgraded. Unfortunately, our current host does not go any larger, so we need to move the site - and that's a bigger deal than just moving to a larger server.

We're working on it, but it's going to take another week or two yet.

Thanks!

I just purchased a new computer and verified I have the "high speed Internet access" and I was wondering Oh, Boy what now?

Good News!

While I've been a little frustrated with the slow page load recently, that's great news, Joe! Glad to hear the business is growing! Tom Patterson

Let us know how it's doing ...

Let us know how it's doing ... we changed the load sequence to load the ads last and to load the rest of the page first. That should speed the page loads up until we can debug the new server completely.

You can now go ahead and view the page as well as interact with it even if the ad(s) have not loaded. If they're slow, then so be it, just move on. On the next page the ads may just pop right up again.

Once we move to the new server and get it fully debugged, then the ad display should no longer be as slow.

But at least now, if the ads are slow to load, you can use the rest of the page just fine.
