Nice but

Need to mix views in from different prospectives. One looking from behind engine does not show engine. Really great RR.

shooting prospectives

Art: I only have three of the mini-cameras to shoot with and they are visible from other cameras if you were to shoot the engine with one from behind the engine. Lets be realistic here. I spent 4 days shooting and editing that video that came from three cameras which is alot of work to do. If you subscribe to my Youtube page you will have a choice of over 100 videos to choose different prospectives from onboard or off the trains and even different eras.

Thanks, Bob

Cool

I enjoyed that! It's like I was sitting on top of the coal in the tender (which would probably scare the life out of me in the real world).  I'm amazed at the depth of field you can achieve. The communication-by-whisle between the head-end and the pusher was especially cool.

The video brought back memories of riding behind 1:1 steam... N&W 611 and 1218, NKP 765, CNR 6060.

Bridge in another video

Bob,

I was watching another of your videos on You Tube and saw the deck truss bridge on the approach to Elkhorn City. I am looking to build a deck bridge for my railroad.  Your bridge looks fantastic. If you could you tell us the source of the bridge and how you built it.

Thanks

nice video

Nice video, if I remember I have seen several of yours in the past and enjoyed them as well. Do you have a website about your railroad? If so how about a link in your signature I am sure lots of folks beside myself would like to view it as well.

Thanks

Bridge at Pool Point

The bridge is a combination of two Bridgmaster kits built to a 3/4 size of the real Pool Point bridge in Kentucky on the former Clinchfield RR. Several others have done it also, some scratchbuilt. I have 5 bridges total on the layout all over water.

great vids, all of them

Bob,

Thanks for the information on the bridge.  It really does look great.  I am wanting a deck truss for my railroad, and am having trouble coming up with a way to build it.

Thanks for the wonderful vids.  I have enjoyed all of them, and have become motivated from them.

Layout page on Facebook

Guys I do not have a website but do regularly post updates on layout progress on my Facebook group. It is called Virginia Southwestern railroad. You can also join the Norfolk Western Railroad or the Clinchfield Railroad groups for alot of photos of the layout.
