Des Plaines Hobbies is continuing!

Just a follow-up note on Ron Sebastian's passing.  Last time I was in Des Plaines Hobbies (late Oct 2019), employees indicated that the store has no intentions of closing, and continues to operate.  I'm still sure it'll be different without Ron running things, but the great news is there are no plans to close.

Still, Ron's loss is a loss for all of us.

Anyone know if this shop is still functioning?  I placed a web order (first time customer) 14 days ago; credit card was charged but no items or even a tracking number received. No vendor reply to email and voice mail.  Charge dispute filed with credit card...

just calling.  They always answer the phone, and have been very helpful. The number is 847-297-2118.

Guys thanks but really, as stated I have the seller contact info and I contacted them by phone and email. Was just wondering if they had gone out of business.  Anyway it’s in AmEx’s hands now, I’m certainly done chasing the seller.  As the great Coach Belichick once said “we’re on to Cincinnati!”
