Hi Jason,

Nice work and good article!

Was there a part number for the PCB LEDs.  I only see what appears to be a single light for $8 / light pre-wired on the RR CirKit's website.  You seem to be getting 20 lights on a board.  I don't mind soldering small parts so they don't have to include the wires.

Thanks!

Nick

Hi Nick.

Thanks for the comments on the article too Nick.

When I ordered my original lot (and the remaining after) they had ran out of the pre-wired single LED's.

The orders I received were either on the larger PCB or individual LED's in a small bag.  The PCB ones are easier to handle and wire.

If you email Karen at RR CirKits (sales@rr-cirkits.com) she should be able to help you out.

Cheers, Jas.

Jas these are signals that

Jas these are signals that differ from what I will use on my layout but I read your article anyway because you wrote it and I follow your blog. I found your techniques useful in that they will allow me to build the ones I need for my era and local. You got 5 stars for a very nicely written how to. It is very interesting to note that even though the type of signal you built may differ from the type someone might need the way to build it and hook it up maybe the same. Also lots of folks use the traffic light colors so weather dwarf or another type your methods should serve many folks quite well.

Nice job!

Thanks Rob for the great feedback...

Rob I'm glad you got something out of the article.  It's your exact response that anyone writing articles would hope for.

Sharing the hobby has always been something I'm invested in, I was given many ideas and methods freely when I started and it's all about paying it back as I and we should all do as we progress with our builds.

Thank you for the feedback and the stars too on the article, it always appreciated!

Cheers, Jas...
