New Issues

Hello: I there a way to get a reminder that a new issue is available? I often forget to down load the latest issue. Great magazine, by the way and the blogs are informative and interesting.

Yes, become a subscriber (it's free)

Yes, become a subscriber and you will get status emails each week. If you are already a subscriber and not getting emails from us, then your email bounced at some point and we turned off the email to avoid getting more bounces. Turn turn the emails back on, log in, go to "My account" on the the right hand menu and click the "Notifications" tab. Make sure the notifications option is checked - and that should do it! Also double-check that your email address under the edit tab is correct ... Update it if it's not current.

Track Cleaning Experiments

This is not so much experimentation as it is observation. In my case and perhaps many others I have found a clothes dryer in the train room/basement to be a major contributor to dust. Closely followed by air ducts. I removed the dryer from the basement  (seems to of made the wife happy) and change furnace filters with very good micron type filters. Stop as much dust from entering the environment as possible. It has reduced the need for cleaning as much. I favor the Craytex cleaning pad from Walthers. Keep the trains rolling. Mike B. Format of the current issue.

Has anyone experienced that the July issues does not fit the screen on a 10" tablet in landscape.

All the previous issues fit one page in the screen.
