Thank you ...

... for the option to read on line.  I had downloaded the landscape pdf version from the other link and honestly, it was so awkward and cumbersome to read in that format, that I finally gave up (using a desktop PC).

Really enjoy MRH Magazine

I only discovered MRH magazine a short time ago and I'm truly impressed. Wish I ad come across this sooner! I'm now downloading all of the back issues. I really don't understand Dave O's comment about the download being awkward and cumbersome to read.I too am downloading in landscape format (using the Flash helper) and for me at least, the downloads are going very smoothly and the format is excellent for reading. However, I do have a large wide screen monitor and that may make a difference.

The content is great and I love the live links. I find myself going back and rereading each issue several times. Keep up the great work! BTW, I love the price too!

I also enjoy reading MRH

I am very grateful for this magazine. It gives me loads of ideas and has helped evolve my vision of my railroad once I get to start on it. It is still going to be a year or more before I can start building. I have been in what I call accumulating phase of the hobby for over 20 years. Sometimes doing more than at other times. I know that I still have a lot to learn and will probably never stop learning. Your magazine is as useful or more than Model Railroader Magazine. One thing that I am always looking for is how-to articles that can let you do things yourself for a lot less than just buying a finished product. I am on a limited income as I draw disability and cannot work. I go to sales and flea-markets to try to find used stuff. I am going to be making my roadbed from that grey and white underlayment that has been talked about. I found it on clearance last year at Home Depot, which made it affordable for me. I also have a Train Shop that also gets and sells used/broken stuff that I look thru and buy some on occasion. It isn't too often that I get to do that is that it is 70 miles from home. The nearest Shop is 35 or so miles away. Enough rambling about me. This is a great magazine and keep those articles coming.

Amazing and for free

Yes, I agree, this is a high end top quality magazine and, although it has been explained how it's kept free, I never stop of being amazed how is it possible. It is definitely a major contribution to this great hobby !
