The captions in photo 1 and 2 of Neil Schorr's layout article say the coal train's pulled by a pair of K4 4-6-2 Pacifics.
It's actually a pair of L1 2-8-2 Mikados.

If you regularly download MRH, please download it again -- we've made dozens of corrections, including the K4 to L1 correction above. On the masthead page you want V1.2 April 18.
 
The Online edition is also now the latest version.
