Is there a way to search for a specific topic in the forums? I have tried and the ones that come up are all over the place. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong....

Issue 5 release
Issue 5 of Model Railroad Hobbyist - Jan/Feb 2010, the first of our new bi-monthly scheduled magazines, is offically to be released January 4th.
However, if you watch the web site, we expect to release the issue sometime late in the day on Saturday Jan 2nd. We won't announce the issue officially until Jan 4, so if any of you early downloaders find a problem with the issue in any way, please let us know so we can get a correction posted before general release on Jan 4.

Hello all;
A couple of weeks or so ago, I was watching a you tube video of a switching layout for a shelf top HO layout. It had a diesel that switched a boxcar around a grain elevator, I think. The engine then disappeared behind a divider, and the video ended.
For the life of me, I cannot seem to find that vid any more. I have googled it, you tube searched it, and even went to a couple of train sites to see wherer the link was posted. All to no avail.
WGH show Denver, Colorado
Just curious if MRH is going to have any presence at the World's Greatest Hobby Show February 20th and 21st in Denver, Colorado.
Looking forward to this show... all we have had the last few years is the usual modular clubs and dealers trying to hock 70s Tyco freight cars. I see Atlas and Athearn are intending on being there!
As for MRH are there any plans? Anything I could possibly do to help? I can only attend Saturday, however.
Vendor of the month
I have an idea of something you all can do to help MRH - I'm calling it: the vendor of the month.
The idea is we announce a hobby vendor we'd like to see advertise with us and who has good stuff - and then as many of you who would like to help go to the vendor's web site and post comments asking if they've heard of MRH and why they don't advertise with MRH, etc - whatever you want to say. Or better yet, find something you need that they sell and buy it - and tell them MRH sent you and why aren't they advertising in MRH, etc.

5 DVD set Siskiyou Line
Well today I received the 5 DVD set (Joe Fugates Syskiyou Line) I ordered or should say that My Wife Bought me for Christmas and I ordered. First I want thank Patty Fugate "Joes" wife for the help in getting my order wrapped up and sent to me so fast as well as getting my Credit card to work when I was having trouble ordering.

Confused and wondering.....
Hi all,
Since I am still home afther that surgery I had, I am working on my layout, groundcovering, ballasting and so on. Now between all that I started doing a little inventory of my rolling stock and went online to see if there was some thing I could add.
MRH is not free!
We got an interesting email from a reader ... he maintains MRH is anything BUT free.
He said MRH costs a fortune to print out - once you add up the cost of ink and paper, an issue costs A LOT more than a print magazine.
