Question to our readers

What would be the top 3-5 reasons you like MRH? Or put another way, if you were explaining to a newbie why they needed to go check out the MRH site, what reasons would you give?

Tools source

FWIW I found a decent source of stainless steel surgical tools and instruments at trade, art, tool and computer shows and fairs. There is always somebody selling cheap copies of professional medical instruments present. While what they sell is junk by medical standards is more than adequate for our needs. And priced within reason.

Any interest in MRH on Apple Newstand?

With the release of iOS 5 last week, Apple introduced their new periodical Newstand. Any publications on the Newstand get automatically delivered to you once each issue is released.

Any iPad or iPhone users out there who would like to see MRH on Apple's Newstand?

Just-in-time article feed?

Here's a crazy idea ...

How would you feel about a subscribers-only just-in-time article feed?

The idea is as soon as an article is ready to go, we would push just that article (plus some ads) to an immediate RSS feed.

You would get immediate access to the article - with ads of course.

The articles would eventually end up in one of the magazines - but it could vary. Sometimes you might get an article as early as 90 days before it made it into a magazine.

Couple questions.

Non Abrasive Track Cleaner

Recently somewhere, and I can't remember where, I saw an article about a new erasure type track cleaner that is not as abrasive as the old style Track Brite and others and was wondering if someone else has seen this and knows where one can get some of them, thanks.

Trouble shooting the Walther's N turntable.

So I was making some fine-tuning adjustments to my Walther's built up turntable, the earlier non-DCC one, and I think I may have rooned it.

In the process of cleaning and adjusting the wipers in the pit that transfer track and motor power to the bridge, I think I created a short that lasted longer than it liked.  Now when I turn on the main power to it, the LED just blinks and blinks and blinks.  I get track power, but no movement of the table whatsoever.
