MRH Magazine general discussion

Thanks to MRH my HTC phone now reads the emails and the website.

I'm now able to view the MRH emails/newsletters on my HTC cell phone.  I can also view the website on the HTC just like I do on my wife's iPad.  Kudos for making it happen.  I have been able to lay in bed with the HTC sync'd to the wireless network to read all the post and see all the photos.  Though the HTC screen is a lot smaller than the iPad the HTC weighs a lot less than the iPad.

Thanks!

April issue subscriber extras

Wow, after seeing the email message from MRH today about Miss April I figured I better run down to Best Buy and get a vertical aspect monitor before I downloaded the centerfold. Oh, it is another April Fool joke. Probably would have been a nice pair... of Southern GP-35s and a cute caboose too.

Macintosh virus alert

If you happen to be a Macintosh owner there is a virus out there that has apparently infected around 600,000 machines.

This link is to an article and it gives how to check if your machine is infected.

Worlds Smallest Production Train set smaller than Z called "T" Scale

While looking for an article I saw a while back about the worlds smallest Train in commercial production I saw the following it's 1:450 Scale "T" scale. It is to "Z" scale what HO is to "O"  1/2 the size of "Z". you can hold the whole city of New York in your hands and watch trains run

The trains run on real tracks not in a slot or on a single rail like other small railroads do.

NO JOKE

Proprosed: MRH Mobile app

There's been some discussion earlier about getting MRH in the Apple Newstand, but we're thinking we need more than that.

We'd like to see a full-blown MRH mobile app that you can use on an iPad, Kindle, iPhone, or Android phone. We see the app including:

1. Forums, scrollable and viewable on the device in large type
2. Blogs, scrollable viewable on the device in large type
3. Automatic notification of new issues with download link for the proper version for your device
4. MRH hobby news feed with embedded media playable on the device

Looking for someone who can print some white decals

Hey guys, working on my California HSR project and I need to get some Amtrak white decals printed for it. Does anybody out there have an Alps or other printed that can print a page of white decals? If so let me know what it would cost for a page 8.5X11. It's all white, no other colors. Mostly text.

Appreciate any help!! This project is coming along nicely, been meaning to post a blog on it.

Best,

Rob
