New MRH format coming in 2013
Hi All. I have every issue of MRH downloaded and stored on my hard drive and a back up drive. I like this because I can access them off line whenever I choose.
With MRH's plans to move to a different format, will I still be able to do this? I'm on a fixed income and at the rate internet costs are rising, I won't always be able to access the internet, yet want to read this terrific publication at leisure.
I'd appreciate knowing what the new format is all about. Can I download it? Save it? Read it off line?
Preparing athearn for paint?
I want to re paint an Athearn heavyweight rear platform observation in IC brown. My question is should I worry about stripping it or just paint it? What would I strip it with? It is currently green.
When does the "early bird edition" hit the web?
I though I saw mention of an "early bird edition" of the July MRH coming on July 1st. When does it hit the web?

In order to run your layout, you will need to take out a second mortgage on the house in order to have all the DCC equipment needed
to run a layout. Plus a background education in electronic engineering. I find it ironic that it is going to be way cheaper to run my SM32
outdoor layout (not a garden layout, this is Arizona) then it will be to run my On30 modular layout.
In order to operate your layout, you need to operate like a MBA ! At least like a corporate puke, anyway.
T.V. and my iPhone
I'm sitting on my couch watching baseball and wondering "if I can use my iPhone to control my locomotives, why can't I change my tv channel with my iPhone. Is there an ap for channel control?

Rapido Canadian
Well after a year the HO CPR Canadian full train set has finally arrived. Rapido gave out the container number and I have been tracking it since it left Hong Kong April 12th. The shipment arrived yesterday at its destination.
Now to wait for the units to be shipped to the distributors, and then on to the customers.
