Steve R.

I have some prototype pictures I would like to post. Can I post them on the discussion forum and if so how?

Thanks

Pictures

Get a Photo Bucket Account. Use the fourth option, IMG. Copy and use the forum Icon to paste the photo to your message.

So easy a Cave Man can do it. Ok, there are various values of easy.

Make sure you figure out what albums you want in the account. This can get addictive and you can lose track of where a photo is.

I must not be as smart as a cave man

I got the photo bucket account set up and the pictures up loaded to it but can't find the option your talking about.

Thanks

PIctures

I suspect The Powers To Be like hide the different options with Icons. Sometimes takes me some time to figure out what each option is suppose to be.

Put the mouse pointer over the different Icons. One will pop up that says Image. Post the link into the pop up.

Here you go

Steve-
Sure, you can post them.  Just find a Discussion Forum where you think they belong; perhaps in the "Modeling General Discussion" forum: http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/forum/6

Take a look at this "how to" that Jeff put together.  Also make sure to take a look at the comments because there are a few other suggestions as well:

If you run into problems, just ask and somebody will help...hopefully before kickoff!

Yeah, I forgot to mention,

Yeah, I forgot to mention, you have to start a discussion or be ready to Reply to one before the Icons show up.

It would make things much easier if the MRH would just use, Copy and Paste for links, photos and videos like many forums do.

Ok, Trains.com makes it difficult also.
