Hello all.

Here it is, time to program a stationary decoder, set up the tortise and install the turnout. Using NCE power cab, FIrst big step is my reversing loop. Anybody got any "don't do this" or "Do this" advise for me. I can do the soldering and lay the turnout, at least I tell myself I can. The reverser is a PSX-AR from DCC Specialties/Tony's Trains. The turnout is a Micro Engineering.

AFTER you get done chuckling, please.. send advise.

relax

I dont use NCE but they will be like all others.

Take your time, relax and enjoy the time. Its a learning curve to soemthing new, and once you get into it, youll look back and see it wasnt as big a deal as you made it to be.

With any wiring project, read, learn and then try it. Document connections, wire colors and dont try to make shortcuts.

Good luck, and I wont chuckle, Ive been there too as I sat looking at a airbrush......

Yeah, worked out really well.

Well, I did it. Was able to read it and re-read it and do it. Came out really super. Seems like the term "reset to factory defaults was made just for me. I use it all the time.

Hope the next couple of days laying track go as well.

Thanks!
