It's been a while since I've done an update. I got married, so there hasn't been a done of progress on the layout. I do have all the turnouts I need finally! (ME turnouts are fairly hard to find right now, especially if you're trying not to pay 2x the cost for them)

I have the track all roughly in place and all the lumber yard building mockups placed where I think I want them to go. I still need to mock up the station and the manufacturer that will be on the back side of the layout and play with them some. Here's a look at the lumber yard mockup and an overview of most of the layout prior to the last couple turnouts arriving.

I also decided to go with NCE for my DCC system. My club uses Digitrax, but we've had enough issues with it and I've read many more good things about NCE than that so that's why I made that choice. I bought the PowerCab starter setup. This seems great, however I would like to hook that up with JMRI and a wifi setup so that I can use my phone as a throttle. I know I need the USB interface, but can anyone tell me what else I will need to set this up?
