It's another week . . . post 'em if you got 'em.  There were a few late-comers in last week's post.  Check them out, then come back here afterward.

Bicentennial for July 4th

The throaty bark of 7FDL’s and 251B’s in run-8 echoes off the walls of the old Borst & Burhans buckwheat flour mill in Cobleskill, N.Y. as Bicentennial-painted U23B 1776 leads a southbound D&H freight starting to gather momentum for the imminent climb up Richmondville Hill in October, 1975.

This scene replicates the prototype fairly accurately.  For those who are familiar with Cobleskill, the famous Cobleskill Coal Company is just barely visible as a silhouette behind the trees in the far background at left.

The signal is located away from the governed tracks.  A non-signaled lead track is in between them, so a placeholder "dummy" mast has been added to an extension of the beam to the right of the signal heads.

Simply AWESOME !!!!!!  Very realistic and very inspiring. Your scenery and weathering are truly realistic. Not overdone. Not under done. Just perfect!

Inspiration

Thank you Jim,

I'm very appreciative of that comment coming from you.  Your modeling has the same characteristics, and has long been a source of inspiration for me (including your early Conrail-era diesel and freight car days).

Modeling Fall color is fraught with peril.  Restraint is essential.

great shots.

Very cool stuff from everyone. Dominic you nailed the perfect july 4 shot.  Here is my continued celebration of the upcoming Rapido U25b Hi-Hoods.  Making sure they know they look good in black and yellow too. Also a Genesis Airslide and a Tangent LO.  Thanks for lookin, Steve

Burlington Hopper...

VERY nice modeling, Terrance, all of it. And a well lit photo, to boot. IF that's not natural sunlight, then you've nailed "natural" looking lighting, too.
