It's been quite some time since I've posted. I've been working recently on getting the TCS UWT-50 case design finished and have two videos that I thought might be of interest. The first is some design iterations I did on the knob. I has some lathe work in it that you might enjoy.

The second is about fixing some issues TCS found with the design that didn't show up with FDM 3D prints, and has some information about Fusion 360 techniques.

Lot's of work!

It's amazing how much work goes into prototyping!  I was pleasantly surprised on the lathe machining for the brass insert.  Both good videos!

I'm looking forward to getting mine

I'm going to have an odd assortment of throttles... several different CVP ones, a ProtoThrottle, and two different TCS ones.

RE: Lot's of work!

Thanks,

The machining of the brass insert was a lot of fun. I haven't had the lathe for long, but I'm really enjoying it.

One of my reasons I'm publishing these videos is to give people an idea of what's involved in product development. It's a lot more involved that I certainly realized before starting to do product development. But it's also a hobby for me, and I like to share.

Hmmm, sounds like we'll have to design a few more throttles to add to your assortment, Jeff
