Refrigerator cars are spotted at the North American Prototype Modelers icing platform in Fleming to get their bunkers topped off with ice. The yard switcher will soon pick up these cars and tack them on to westbound No. 83 a few minutes before the train's scheduled departure.

North American Prototype Modelers is an HO scale club in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Wilson Car Lines reefer is a Walthers kit of a General American prototype built in 1948; the three Patrick Cudahy cars are Intermountain models of a prototype first used by Pacific Fruit Express. Mike Sosalla weathered these club-owned cars.

It's always sunny..

Back in Sept I tore out my old layout and started a new one at the same time.. This picture is from an area I just put up background images..  More trees and bushes to follow along with weathering rail and so on..

This "was" one of my locomotives when I was modeling the early 1940s. It is a Oriental brass model. I sold it when I switched to modeling the 1920s. This prototype was two new for my 1920s modeling.
