For a short sweet time in the early 2000's there were not one but two all Alco/MLW shortlines in the Okanagan region of British Columbia.  I visited a few times to chase my favourite locomotive type.  With the pending release of the Rapido Trains M420 I am tempted to model these operations.

Good documentation

That's certainly a part of the system people don't see every day.  I've always loved those wide cabs, I once saw a couple of CP units down in Minnesota.  They were real dirty from working through winter, but the snow provided a perfect backdrop.  If only I had a camera back then...
