Goose in The Caboose Productions

Hey guys, so it's getting to the point on Nolan's layout that were ready to split the wiring into two broad booster districts, with that subdivided into power districts. My question is whether we can turn both the command station and booster on at once, or whether we have to turn on the command station on first and then the booster in sequence as we do with the club's Digitrax System. I never messed with NCE, so this is a little out of my knowledge base.

    Thanks in advance,

An anecdotal answer...

My older NCE setup I had a separate command station and booster, and I powered both on at once, and nothing bad ever happened.  The booster is smart enough to not output anything if there's no input.

My newer system is a single box containing both, so I guess you could say there's no choice but to turn both on at once.
