You've inspired me to get off my duff and add some scenery to my plywood pacific. This was one of my new year's resolutions this year, but seems to have stalled out at the track ballasting stage.

Ah...

I saw the title and thought, "Okay, another thread on someone's long chopped-up layout", but that's isn't the case, thankfully.

Great progress. I love showing visitors photos of my layout as a "Plywood Pacific" as they stand in the room with the 'finished' version. Many people comment that they can't see how I got to the finished product from such humble lumber beginnings...

You see layouts when they're 'done' and it's hard to imagine them in progress unless you were there to see it.
