Metric close

I haven't seen 1/64 other than some ply in model ship kits.  However 0.5 mm stock is fairly close and readily available from suppliers of wood for model ships.  One such example is Model Expo.

Kappler

Kappler Scale Lumber lists 1/64" strips in various widths.

As does Northeastern Scale

As does Northeastern Scale Lumber  look at the HO 1 x  as it is .012 thick . They stock HO 1x2 through 1 x 10 which is .012 x .12  The so called 1/64 ply is really more like .018 thick and can be found at most good hobby shops and Michel's or Hobby Lobby
