I visited my friend, Clark Propst, on Friday and got a chance to see the progress on his wonderful Iowa branch line.

Below is a short video which follows a steam train across the full length of the layout. Clark is an excellent prototype modeler, so you'll see some inspiring scenes and details.

As if stepping back in time

Well done.  I have much to learn from your beautiful scenery.  The rural farm scenes and the way the connect to the backdrop are incredible.

Very authentic.  The scenery

Very authentic.  The scenery looks like the Iowa I grew up in many years ago.  Well done.

Your video is nicely put together also.  Good realistic feel.

Thanks for posting it.

Great video!

Scott,

Thanks for taking the time to make the video of Clark's railroad - it's too good to call just a layout!

I'll be sharing the link with my friends!

Very nice transitions

from layout scenery to backdrops. The video is well done, clear and stable, easy to watch. Did you take any overall layout shots so the relationship of all the parts is shown? We can learn more about layout design if a view of the whole room is included. For example the beginning explains the staging quite well. .....DaveB
