Value Trains USA

Value Trains USA is based in Marshall, Missouri and is out to demonstrate that model railroad cars can be made in the United States. Their first product is a mid-70s ACF 50'6" boxcar. The first release is a little unusual - the Union Pacific Heritage Scemes on boxcars, and a Value Trains USA boxcar. An undecorated model is also available.

Hopefully there is a big demand for those cars from Value Trains.  Seems a bit risky to have those as your first ever run, but perhaps they'll sell a pile of them.

Walthers

Walthers has some new items to show, including a new 89-foot flat car, some new buildings, and an N scale bridge system. They are also developing a concept they call Pathways, which is a loose structure for growing a train set into the hobby of a lifetime.
