Nov 7  - NCE Powercab

Got my NCE Powercab and am able to control the locos on my HO layout with the Powercab. yaay !!!

Next step, control using JMRI and the USB adaptor through the Powercab. This will open a lot of possibilities.

Nov 7 - N scale layout ready  - Next step, awaiting the N scale locos that I may get today. It will be more fun working on a layout with more possibilities than my HO layout. Also, since it is a 2' x 4', I can stow it away if I need to. Also, I can expand with another 2' x 4' to bigger layouts. Feel excited

Congrats

Taking small steps is the way to go. Slow and steady. Like the old joke used to say: "How do you ea t an elephant? At a spoonful at a time."  The layout is coming out nice. keep us posted.

HO & N

Yes @jimfitch.

I got my HO first.

I have space constraints and wanted to build more complex tracks. So, I got myself an N. Got an initial track, but now trying to expand to bigger ones. Found many examples on the scarm web site. That's a good web site

Now, I am trying to connect to JMRI and figure how to control the locos through JMRI
