Really need more specific info on what the problem is!

What problems are you having?  Setting address? or specific CVs?  Tsunami II uses a slightly new format such as indexed CVs.   Visit the soundtraxx website for the manual here>   https://www.soundtraxx.com/manuals.php

Programming the newer more

Programming the newer more powerful decoders has been problematic with the digitrax zephyr system.  I believe if you use the search feature you should get some good results.

Program

I have read in a few forums of some that use the Digitrax Zephyr using a 1K resistor across the rails when programing. I believe if you Google the issue you will see that with some decoders.

I will add I never saw that with my Power Cab. It seems to have enough power for programming.

To use the search function go

To use the search function go to the upper right of this page and type in the term on which you want to search - i.e. "Digitrax Zephyr programming issues".

Programming Option

Suggest you purchase a Sprog unit and load the latest version of JMRI Decoder Pro onto your laptop or desktop computer. That with a short section of track and you should be able to program practically anything. Then move it to your Railroad and enjoy the result.

What Matt said

I have a Digitrax Zephyr and also had difficulty programming the newer decoders.  I had tried a number of programmer boosters that you hook to the Zephyr and still had problems programming.  I purchased the Sprog 2 unit which I use with JMRI Decoder Pro and it works perfectly every time.

Blast Mode

You need to put your command station in the Blast Mode.

Follow these instructions EXACTLY, and program ONE loco at a time.
